Educated at the City of London School and The Royal Military Academy Sandhurst, Philip served in the British Army for eight years before joining the financial services industry.

After working in a number of blue-chip financial services businesses, he co-founded Scott Goodman Harris, an independent financial advisory boutique, before selling the business to UBS and joining the company as Head of UK High Net Worth. Five years later, he joined Royal Bank of Canada (RBC) as Head of Private Client Wealth Management UK, before becoming CEO of Credit Suisse Private Banking in London.
