With a bachelor’s degree in finance and economics, Akul brings seven years of finance industry experience. He began his career in corporate finance at EY and Nielsen, focusing on financial analysis. He then gained expertise in equity analysis and portfolio construction, which paved the way for his specialisation in private markets over the past five years.

Focusing on venture capital, Akul has co-authored due diligence reports and co-led investments in innovative sectors such as Spacetech, Artificial Intelligence, Climate Tech, Defence Tech, and Fintech.

Outside of work, Akul enjoys basketball, American football, and competitive gaming, finding parallels in strategic thinking and teamwork with his professional endeavours.
