Mauricio has more than 20 years’ experience in stocks, foreign exchange and commodities.

Born in Brazil, he graduated from the University of São Paulo and has held positions as a proprietary trader specialising in options and exotic derivatives at firms like Goldman Sachs, Macquarie Bank, and HSBC. As an investment portfolio manager with a focus on quantitative funds, he has held positions at institutions such as Banco Itaú and Société Générale.
